OTP began in 1963 in Columbus, Ohio as an industrial supply distributor of mechanical power transmission equipment and pumps. From the very beginning, our company leaders stressed the importance of hiring and developing the best quality employees, treating them right and coupling their talents with a wide range of products from top manufacturers.

In recent years, our business strategy has been extended to include mergers and acquisitions with other companies who share our core values.

2010 — Nu-Con Automation (founded 1977)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Battle Creek Michigan, primarily serving southern and central Michigan.

2010 — Ohio Transmission & Pump (founded 1963)
The company name was changed to OTP Industrial Solutions to better reflect our technical capabilities supporting a broad range of products, serving customers in multiple states.

2010 — Midwest Fluid Power (founded 1956)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Toledo Ohio, primarily serving northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan.

2005 — Nimmo Fluid Power (founded 1983)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Cincinnati Ohio, primarily serving southwest Ohio and northern Kentucky.

2005 — WR Shields Inc (founded 1983)
Fluid power supplier headquartered in Cleveland Ohio, primarily serving northern Ohio.

2003 — Hydro-Power Inc (founded 1969)
Pump and repair supplier headquartered in Terre Haute Indiana, with branch locations in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis, primarily serving Indiana and Illinois.

1998 — Prime Pump (founded 1980)
Pump and repair supplier headquartered in Cincinnati Ohio, with branch locations in Indianapolis and Louisville, primarily serving Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky.
